Question

Did you know? In Samoa exists the "Fa'afafine" — a third gender raised by the community in feminine roles. It is not "trans" in the Western sense — it is a socially recognised role going back centuries. Many fa'afafine play key roles in families and communities. It is evidence that modern genders are not "Western" or "modern" — they have long existed in other cultures.
