Question

Did you know? Hedgehogs are born with spines — but they are initially soft and covered by a fluid sac (to protect the mother during birth). Only after a few hours do they harden. Hedgehogs are also lactose-intolerant; giving milk to a sick hedgehog makes it sicker.

Accepted Answer

Hedgehogs are born with spines — but they are initially soft and covered by a fluid sac (to protect the mother during birth). Only after a few hours do they harden. Hedgehogs are also lactose-intolerant; giving milk to a sick hedgehog makes it sicker.
