Question

Did you know? When an opossum "plays dead", it's not acting — it's an involuntary response triggered by extreme stress. The animal enters a trance for 4 minutes to 4 hours, with stiff muscles, drooling, and stinking fluid from its anus. It comes around on its own.

Accepted Answer

When an opossum "plays dead", it's not acting — it's an involuntary response triggered by extreme stress. The animal enters a trance for 4 minutes to 4 hours, with stiff muscles, drooling, and stinking fluid from its anus. It comes around on its own.
