Question

Did you know? According to inflation theory, in the first 10⁻³² seconds of its existence the universe doubled its size 10⁵⁰ times — faster than light. That sounds impossible, but it is "space itself" expanding, not objects in it. It explains why the universe is so smooth and homogeneous.

Accepted Answer

According to inflation theory, in the first 10⁻³² seconds of its existence the universe doubled its size 10⁵⁰ times — faster than light. That sounds impossible, but it is "space itself" expanding, not objects in it. It explains why the universe is so smooth and homogeneous.
