Question

Did you know? J.M.W. Turner (1775-1851) is often called an early Impressionist. He painted storms, sunsets and trains-in-mist with expressive paint smears. A 19th-century story claims he tied himself to a mast during a storm to paint it accurately — probably apocryphal, but fitting.
