Question

Did you know? Goosebumps are an evolutionary leftover: tiny muscles pull on hair roots to make body hair stand up — in furry ancestors that made them warmer and look bigger. The mechanism still works in us, but without fur it has no visible effect.

Accepted Answer

Goosebumps are an evolutionary leftover: tiny muscles pull on hair roots to make body hair stand up — in furry ancestors that made them warmer and look bigger. The mechanism still works in us, but without fur it has no visible effect.
