Question

Did you know? A chameleon tongue is twice the body length and strikes prey at 100 m/s — faster than an F1 car accelerates. The mechanism works through elastic energy stored in the tongue weight, not muscle power.

Accepted Answer

A chameleon tongue is twice the body length and strikes prey at 100 m/s — faster than an F1 car accelerates. The mechanism works through elastic energy stored in the tongue weight, not muscle power.
