Question

Did you know? Cuttlefish can change colour for camouflage — yet are themselves colour-blind. They "see" colour via skin photoreceptors in their mantle, not via their eyes — a form of vision without eye-contact our brains can barely imagine.

Accepted Answer

Cuttlefish can change colour for camouflage — yet are themselves colour-blind. They "see" colour via skin photoreceptors in their mantle, not via their eyes — a form of vision without eye-contact our brains can barely imagine.
