Did you know? The bombardier beetle sprays a 100°C boiling chemical cocktail from its rear when threatened; the two precursors (hydroquinone + hydrogen peroxide) are harmless apart but explode when mixed in a special chamber.

Accepted Answer

The bombardier beetle sprays a 100°C boiling chemical cocktail from its rear when threatened; the two precursors (hydroquinone + hydrogen peroxide) are harmless apart but explode when mixed in a special chamber.
